Hazelmere Kindergarten is located in the rural township of Te Awamutu, with a large and engaging outdoor area that provides plenty of space for tamariki to play, explore and be physically active. Our beautiful home-like indoor area is calm and inviting, enabling tamariki to gather in small groups to play. Our teachers understand the importance of uninterrupted play, which supports tamariki to learn in the way they are neurologically designed to.
Our vision is to provide a positive, warm and inviting environment where tamariki feel emotionally secure and free to play. Our kaupapa embraces te reo me ona tikanga Maori, which is woven naturally throughout our programme.
Hazelmere Kindergarten holds bronze Enviroschools accreditation, with a commitment to sustainability. Tamariki develop a love of the natural environment, make sense of their world, and develop ways to take care of Papat奴膩nuku.
We have a highly experienced, well established and fully qualified teaching team, who work collaboratively to provide a quality learning and teaching environment. Our kaiako have a wealth of knowledge and experience which they are happy to share.
We believe that relationships are the key to quality education and we prioritise forming positive reciprocal relationships with tamariki, wh膩nau and our community.
Our kindergarten whakatauk墨 encompasses all that we do and believe.
Ko te pikopiko e poipoia ana ka whai ki nga whetu.
The coiled fern frond which is nurtured can reach for the stars.
Nau mai haere mai, we welcome you to visit our kindergarten any time.
