Mercury Bay Kindergarten is situated 200 metres from Buffalo Beach in Whitianga, the historical site of the sinking of the HMS Buffalo. Our area has strong historical links to Kupe and Captain Cook.

Staff are friendly and the kindergarten has a warm, welcoming and homely atmosphere. Our outdoor space is a beautiful, large area with plenty of room for tamariki to run, explore and play. We have an amazing vegetable/herb/fruit garden from which we gather a variety of produce which is either eaten at kindergarten, or shared with wh膩nau.

Connections with our local community are valued and we encourage this through regular small group excursions.

We are very proud of our kindergarten and invite you to come and visit any time. Our doors are always open.
